Introducing our Trinidad Scorpion Moruga chilli pickle, Moruga Fire! It's our hottest chilli pickle, with a top note of Trinidad Scorpion Moruga chilli (a former world record holding hottest chilli), we add in fresh chillies, slow cook with onions, peppers, tomato, dried spices, sugar, vinegar, a touch of salt and oil.

Handcrafted with the finest Trinidad Scorpion Moruga chillies, known for their intense heat and fruity flavour, this pickle is not for the faint of heart. Each jar is carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and a secret blend of spices that will awaken your taste buds with a burst of flavour.

Originating as a spicy experiment, we managed to harness 1.2-1.6 million Scoville scale range chillies and still deliver a pickled sauce packed with flavour and not just overwhelming heat. When this debuted at our second farmers market we sold out of this original short batch first!

This spicy chilli pickle is a perfect accompaniment to any meal, whether it be a sandwich, burger, or even a cheese platter. You can also add it to your favourite dishes to give them a spicy twist.

How to pickle chillies

  1. Pack the chillies tightly into a clean, sterilized jar or jars. You can use one large jar or several small ones.

  2. Pour a hot pickling liquid over the chillies, making sure to completely cover them.
